Solo artist My mom’s zz plant wasn’t doing well and I suspected it was root bound so we un potted it and i took out some rhizomes that had some yellowing branches and planted them. All the old branches died but a new one popped up that is double the height of the original. It’s been a year and it’s happy but aesthetically funky. I would like it to grow more branches. I’m tempted to put it in a darker spot to see if that will encourage more foliage based growth. Is this a good idea or do I just need to be more patient? Cover ugly gap at the bottom of concrete slab I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I'm trying to find a solution to cover the bottom of the concrete slab of my shed. The contractor couldn't dig deeper to pour the concrete, because of the roots of a tree. I've just had paving stones installed in front of the shed and now there is a visible gap with the imperfections in the slab right in front of the stones. Do you guys have ideas to hide this ?
