• Noticed this on my Bird of Paradise, what is it and how do I stop it getting worse
It's watered every couple of days and is next to a west facing window, receiving about 4 hours of sunshine a day (when the sun comes round) and indirect bright light the rest of the time
    Thanks!!

  • Is this plant poison ivy or a boxelder maple? Google is telling me it’s poison ivy, but I wasn’t sure it matched the description of poison ivy. Located in Midwest United States. Thanks!

  • Hi everyone,

Long time lurker, first time posting. I recently moved the pictured haworthia to our East facing window. Is the red towards the core of the plant indicative of sunburn?

I do also plan on removing the pup to repot and let the main plant flourish. Might need to edit the soil mixture as well.

    Appreciate your insights!

  • Greg app said Taro, Google says some kind of Philo. I got it on clearance and it didn't have any tag identifying it...

  • Buddy just started a landscaping company and I’ve been helping him out with some hardscapes, it was zen as hell to sit on the boulders and place the cobble with the water running through.

  • She’s a few years old and had gone a few months at a time without water. Was on the brink of death at one point but perked back up in a nice new pot. Google lens gives me conflicting results each time, any ideas?

  • I'm taking up paving flags to replace them with grass.
The soil underneath (which has been there for years) goes directly up to the brickwork of the house.

Is it okay to lay grass turf over that right up against the wall? Will it create damp problems?

Or would I already have damp problems if that was an issue?

  • Please excuse all the junk on the ground. My sideyard came with a swathe which leads to this outlet built into the wall. I ultimately want to flatten this and put a small shed or raised garden. I understand this will ruin the drainage setup…should I install a french drain which outlets to/through this existing outlet built into the wall? Something else?
