Solo artist My mom’s zz plant wasn’t doing well and I suspected it was root bound so we un potted it and i took out some rhizomes that had some yellowing branches and planted them. All the old branches died but a new one popped up that is double the height of the original. It’s been a year and it’s happy but aesthetically funky. I would like it to grow more branches. I’m tempted to put it in a darker spot to see if that will encourage more foliage based growth. Is this a good idea or do I just need to be more patient?
