  • Succulent rotting(?)

Hi all! I got a succulent plant as a gift a few months back and safe to say as a complete newbie to this my succulent is at the stage where if looks like its rotting(?). The succulent is placed in this glass container with no holes at the bottom (just an fyi) but I just want to figure out how I can revive my succulent right now.

I’m not sure if this is a case of under watering because I’ve only watered it every 2/3 weeks and I didn’t water it too much because I was scared of root rot, but at the same time I’m worried that the water is not actually getting to the roots hence the rotting.

I put my succulent right at my desk, away from direct sunlight.

Any help will be appreciated, thanks!

  • Just planted out my mint!!

I only need a couple leaves but I figured I'd just let each of these grow into some mint trees, I'll just prune back anything that comes up, can't be too bad

  • Edible?

I initially thought they may be rainier but they are much more bitter. Sour cherries? Could I bake with them?

  • Levelling garden beds... should I dig a paver base perimeter?

I am installing a few of these raised garden beds in my backyard and haven't been able to find any information about levelling them properly.

I know I am not supposed to lay a full gravel base below the beds, but would a 2-3'' wide and 4'' deep paver base just around the perimeter of the raised bed help keep it level? Or is there too much soil so things will shift anyway?

Should I put pavers around the perimeter and place the beds on top? Again, leaving the soil in the middle.

Any advice would be much appreciated!
