• Did I harvest these Agave seed pods too early?

I've read that you want to wait till the pods are black and open up, but that you can also dry them until they open.

  • Did my fig freeze?

We moved a week ago and since everything was still kind of a mess and there was no space I put a lot of my plants on the yard to wait. Today I noticed that the fig was not looking good. Was it too cold for it or is it just dry? Can i still save it? The leaves on the top look a bit better.
I watered it after the move and there have been a couple of rainy days (but the plants were out of the rain) and since it's been outside it has gotten a lot of sunlight too.

  • Help me figure out what to put here please

My daughters play on this jungle gym quite a bit and I’ve lost all grass under here.

Thoughts on what to put and how to keep it contained?

  • What plant is this and how do I take care of it?

    Hey everyone!

A friend gave me this plant before they moved out, but I’m not sure what kind it is or what it needs to thrive.

It’s looking a little sad and wrinkly to me. I noticed the pot didn’t have any drainage, so I added a few holes to help for now.

If anyone can help me identify the plant or share care tips, I’d really appreciate it! Thanks!

  • What do I do here without harming fruit trees?

I'm located in east central Wiscinsin and this year I've decided I want a better lawn, so I'm starting with very little knowledge. I've always had some violets in the yard but this year they exploded out of control and I'm wondering how to bring the lawn back in control. Difficulty is I grow small fruit trees in the backyard too and don't want to damage them. Any advice?

  • How can I help my moms plant?

My mom was gifted these seeds without any understanding of what they are, and I'm not quite sure what they are either.. All I can say is that they don't look too good. Is there anything I can do to help them? My mom has left them in this bowl since the moment she got them, nothing else has been done to them, just the occasional filling of the bowl with water. It’s only ever indoor, near the window.

  • Thoughts, help on Thanksgiving cactus

I have had this guy for several years and been really happy with it. But, this last calendar year it has taken a turn for the worse. Any ideas? Recommendations?

Midwest seasons, indirect light, lives in a four season sunroom that is probably 50-75ish F. Probably overwatering, and maybe need to swap to a higher drainage soil.
