• What is this vine?

This just appeared from under my porch. It’s wrapping around my other plants. In Western Wisconsin

  • I think my baby rubber tree plant is going to take over my house!

I have probably propagated 15 new plants from this rubber tree but it just keeps growing! I’m not much of a plant person but plants love my house with all the windows I guess. Should I split it somehow? Just give it a major haircut? Repot in a bigger pot?? Help!!

  • Look how huge these blackberries are! (Dog nose for size reference)

This is our first year we'll be getting a crop from our blackberries. I didn't realize how big they get compared to raspberries.

  • What species is this?

Found this growing in a garden along the edge of some trees. I think it is an oak? But not sure.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Location is Eastern Canada

    Thanks!

  • Northeast Ohio problems

    Looking for some advice.

I took an above ground pool out last fall. It left a hole in the yard 19 feet wide by 36 feet long. The yard tapered down so the hole was 14 inches at the deepest and about 4 inches at the highest.

I hired a company to come fill it. They filled it with fill dirt then put 2 inches of topsoil on it. They then seeded it and put some straw over it. This is how it grew. I’m assuming one guy knew how to seed and the other guy didn’t.

Anyway, I’m not worried about the grass at this point. The problem I’m having is that I cannot walk on a majority of it without sinking into it. Usually sinking about 4-6 inches.

I called the company and he said it just needs to dry out. That was two weeks ago. Nothing has changed and I still sink in it. Called him back and again he said it needs to dry out and that he had sold his business, so I’m done with him.

Any ideas on what I should do? Thanks in advance.

  • Monstera Leaf Damage

My Monstera has had this leaf for a few months now and it developed this blonde spot on it a while back, along with these little black marks that kinda look like shallow cuts. The blonde spot doesn't seem to be spreading and it's the only leaf with this issue. I did spray with a mix of neem oil, peppermint castile soap and a small amount of isopropyl alcohol just in case it was pest related. Does anyone know what could've caused that and how I can keep it from happening in the future?

    Extra Information:
    - For my watering habits I usually water her thoroughly every 2 weeks and she's in a clear nursery pot so I can monitor the roots which seem to be doing perfectly fine.
    - As for her light level, she does get direct sun later into the day since she's near a west facing window but usually the timeframe that she receives direct sun is only like 2 hours at most, the rest of the day it's bright indirect

  • How to move String of Pearls from water to soil?

I've tried putting unrooted cuttings in soil and not touching them, putting unrooted cuttings in damp soil, and directly transplanting from water to soil. They all dried up without making any soil roots. I can only seem to get them to root in water. These are the last few pieces I have of my original plant, so I'd really like them to survive. Please let me know any tips!

  • Used to hate having a corner lot...

Now it's the highlight of ever week. First year I've actually took care of my yard. Last year it was full of crab grass and clover. Midwest.
