  • Ideas and tips for this patio?

The circle has a 12 foot diameter so about 120 sq feet. We were thinking of doing a patio by laying some pea gravel or crushed stone 3” then either pavers or decorative rock over top.. we would do the gravel then rock for the entire perimeter of the yard and plant some trees just not sure how I would go about the trees. Any tips or advice I am all ears this is a first for us

  • Look at this super expensive plant my husband wouldn't let me get.

I tried to explain what a deal I was getting but he just kept saying we don't need anymore plants, we have no more window space. Blah blah blah. ..

    So I'm single now...

  • Is this a weed?

Just moved into a new house and it’s been fun watching what pops up in the yard now that spring is in full swing.
I recently noticed a bunch of these around the yard. They’re cool looking, but I’m suspicious…
I keep going back and forth on whether I think they’re a weed or a flower that’s getting ready to bloom.
Is someone able to identify them? And tell me whether I should yank them or leave them?
    Thank you!!!

  • pls say it’s not scale

I noticed little brown spots on the leaves of my thaumatophyllum and ring of fire philodendron. I checked under their leaves, and these little white balls are under the philodendron’s. Their pots both have drainage, the thaumatophyllum is watered when the soil begins to dry, and the philodendron is watered daily through spraying a moss poll. Both plants sit in the same ESE-facing window with drapes open all day. Are these white balls from scale? I haven’t noticed anything similar on the other plants that sit in the same window.
