• Confused about potato storage

    Zone 9a (UK).

So I planted some “first early” Desiree potatoes in late winter, and they’re now maturing late spring/early summer. They’re fully formed beyond new potato size and about the size I’d expect from a supermarket bag

All I can find online is to store after the first frost - thats 5 months away so won’t be happening soon. Can I harvest and store these? Should I leave them in the soil and aim to use them over the next month or so?Ideally I’d like to pop some more in for a late catch harvest.

  • Is this a mutation?

This little dude was half under his big bro. The bottom leaf wasn’t damaged, it formed with the v, and the center has way too many leaves. My bigger ones only grow new leaves in pairs.

Just a quick note, this is my prop pot, and new purchase isolation. I know my ghost plants are really leggy. They completely overgrew their tiny pots over the winter, and I haven’t decided if I want to keep them all yet, and I need purchase some new pots. Since ghost plants are ridiculously easy to prop (like one leaf had a small tear by the stalk, and now it has roots and a baby, and mama leaf is still thoroughly connected and getting nutrients), I have chopped and propped them numerous years. So if this is a mutation, I want to keep it!

  • Anyone recognise this grass?

Growing up through a prized specimen of something else. I'd be more annoyed if it wasn't quite pretty.

  • Did I propagate correctly?

My friend had an emergency and made me care for his plants. I have never cared for any that lived longer than a week or two most....

Well I decided that sucked so I got the research done and started caring for a basil and this pothos. I fell in love with the little plants and decided to try to roplgate my own cutting of pothos. I think I cut the node at the right spot. Is this a root?

  • Soil Test Results

Minnesota - got my soil test results. Can someone help interpret? I water twice a week and leave the clippings on the lawn. Any specific practice or product would be helpful.

  • The front corners of my grass are crumbling.

    Southern Ohio.

The end of my neighbor and I’s driveways have a sudden falloff/hill at the end, causing the yard to have a cliff that has crumbled away over time. What hasn’t fallen off is very hard to maintain. Is there a way to fix this?
