• Found this growing in a steel drum and replanted last year. The main stem has died but I’m looking at saving two side shoots and training them up if possible. Can anybody accurately name please and thank you in advance. Location Northwest of England, UK

  • Perlite changing colors?

I am so new to this so I apologize. I added perlite and new soil mix since my plant wasn’t growing. I have the light on a timer at work and I came to work today and the perlite is changing colors? Is this normal? Also there’s two petals that are damaged? Do I leave alone or take off?

  • What the hell happened?

Had a nice green lawn to start the season. We’ve been getting a fair amount of rain so no need to water. And yet today it looks like this. What happened? Needs more fertilizer? Doesn’t look like fungus because it’s not patchy but I’m no expert. Would appreciate any thoughts on this. This is in Southern NH.

  • Kannenpflanze

  • How do I stop my bonsai looking like a Halloween decoration?

A few weeks ago I came into possession of this little guy, he’s currently sitting on a ledge that doesn’t get direct sunlight but is pretty sunny enough.
Soon after it started to shrivel up and turn yellow like this.
I have repotted it with some actual bonsai mix and a drainage level. I do try to keep it as moist as possible, watering every other day
    Any help would be wonderful

  • What happened since yesterday?

I watered her yesterday after not watering for a while and when I got home today she had the Brown spot, what is going on? She does not get direct sun light and has been in the same spot for a couple weeks now

  • what’s eating this viburnum?

it looks like there’s been a bajillion holes chewed in it — what’s up with that? Located near Boston; watered when soil is dry, 9ish hours of sun

  • First Mow - New Sod (KBG in Alberta, Canada)

I've laid fresh KBG sod, and stayed off it it for the required two weeks. It's well rooted now and looking great, the problem is that it rained (heavily) daily from day 12 to day 17 (today). The weather forecast shows evening showers every day this week. The grass is quit long in spots (6-8"), I'm concerned it will ge too tall if I wait another week + to give it 48 hours for to dry out before mowing.

What's worse - giving it the first cut when still a little damp, or waiting too long (3.5 weeks) for the first cut? How would you play this?
