• How do you start gardening in your yard?

My backyward basically looks like this covered in weeds mainly clovers? I tried to hand remove some around the pepper seedlings but they just come back.

So far ive i just buy seedlings and plant it in the soil after tilling a bit and have success last year with bitter gourds and luffas but as my peppers plants always stunted and barely give peppers.

Anyways i just dont like the look of this soil, it just doesnt look rich like the soil you see from someone whos gardening. Idk how to explain it. how can i make it usable for gardening?

  • Sad first harvest lol

But we're proud of it! The blueberries will just get better and better, and there's several yellow squash on the vine coming. Zucchini, tomatoes, and peppers are flowering too.

  • Dying?

Is it turning red from being stressed about underwatering? I’m planning on watering it tomorrow. Is there anything else I can treat it with? I swabbed the mealy bugs from the other day with alcohol. Is this grow light acceptable for this plant long term? Texas has been cloudy lately

This space has been practically unused for for a couple years other than tending to the flower bed...what can I do to spruce it up?

  • How to clean this fountain?

I just purchased a home with this fountain in the backyard. I love it but the water is disgustingly green and turns foamy when I turn the fountain on.

Aside from siphoning all this water out and refilling it, what’s the best coarse of action to clean it? Please tell me my only option isn’t replacing the water, lol. And how do I keep it clean once I have clean water in the fountain?

Eventually I’d love to put a fish in there.
