Gifted this "bonsai" don't know how to care for it I was gifted this bonsai in pretty rough shape. I pruned it back because it was quite overgrown when I received it. Haul 2 with maybe 3 left. Super happy! Central Texas/Hill Country. My Harvester tree is having an awesome year despite being 10+ years. Looks like I still have about 4 weeks of weekly harvest with an average of 10-12 lbs. Do you think they’re healthy? I got these for my kid over a year ago for her to take to school but she had no knowledge of how much watering they needed. When I got them back they were mostly dead, dry soil. It’s been a slow year but they filled out so well. They do have browning at the edges which I don’t know why and I’m looking for their next home and soil. Would anyone recommend anything for me? Previously used a carnivorous soil mix I got online that was expensive but worked. I’ve never mixed soil but happy to learn ratios and get it together so I can really make them thrive!
