• Strange patch of amazing grass

    Hi everyone

I've recently scarified, seeded with top soil. Haven't had amazing results if I'm honest and still some bare patches, but seems better than before. I'm not sure why this is really, I'm a newbie.

But... I've noticed this random patch of amazing grass. I've no idea why it differs from everywhere else. I wish all of it came out like that.

The only thing I vaguely remember is catching my dog peeing there (it's my front garden, he's never normally there), but I always thought dog pee kills grass. Maybe it was somewhere else, not sure.

    What's your thoughts?

    Posting from the UK!

    Thanks!

  • Brand New Blade, Still Ass

Does anyone ever sharpen a new blade? Finally got some good color but it’s hidden with a haze caused by the white tips. Old blade did the same even after sharpened. Possible lawn mower rpm issue?

  • Anything I can do?

I believe my spinach is bolting. I picked it last Thursday, left for a vacation the next morning, and just returned home to this. Is there anything I can do to fix this or are my spinaches toast? They usually took about a week between harvests so I thought that a week away wouldn’t hurt them.

  • Best way to prop this?

Received a cutting of this marble queen pothos. How would you prop this, water or soil?

  • Spurge over running landscaping

My 3x30 strip of landscaping has been covered with spurge. I spent the last week handpicking most of it out but it's relentless and continues to grow back. Should I mulch the strip and remove the rock or accept defeat this year and do pre emergent this fall and spring?

  • Sarracenia seedlings in terrarium

the sphagnum moss I've planted into my terrarium had some sarracenia seedling stowaways. How long could they stay inside the terrarium before they have to get their own pot?

-around 12h of grow light. (idk the wattage)

-usually between 21-26°c and around 80% humidity

-no wet feet, I've watered like twice since February

I hope them to be sarracenia alata seedlings, the guy I bought the moss from had some rather impressive specimens for sale.
