  • What is this tree?

Can you help me identify this tree planted in front of my house? There are a total of four. I want to prune them but would like to research how best to do so and I don’t know what they are called.

  • Elongated succulent, please help

This plant is elongated, and I decided to pick it up from the flea market. I don’t know where to cut back, thinking of giving it more light, but prob won’t change anything about it being leggy. If anyone can give any advice, will be greatly appreciated. I also don’t know what species is it.

  • Help fixing this lawn

Hi! I live in the greater San Diego area, and we are renting a house currently. There’s a side yard that is very scraggly with weeds etc (photo attached) but has sprinklers. It gets a lot of sun throughout the entire day with shade in the later evening. What would be a good way to go about making it more grassy/less weedy and more habitable? I’m not looking to put in a ton of money (since it’s a house we are renting) but I think I can leave it a bit better than I found it. I will say I have no lawn experience, but I’m a motivated learner!

  • Too much or little sun?

Hi! This is my pilea (I think the name is in English) and she’s growing wildly, seems generally happy. But this curling done on some of the leaves, I’ve heard it’s either too much sun, or too little. I’d like to know what you guys think? I’ve had it put back deeper in a room most of the time, until sort of recently moved it to a window with a lot of sun. It’d make sense if that means it’s had too much sun, but I just wanna make sure what you guys think. Maybe it’s not about the sun at all.
I water it about once every week, depending on how sunny it’s been.
Tldr; what causes my plants leaves to curl?

    Thanks!

  • Help with next step

My beloved, the first of my succulents, has been under a grow light all winter and is now awfully tall (as far as I’m concerned, anyway). What is my next best step for her wellbeing and potential progeny?
