    Need help reviving

Someone brought these guys in and put a free sign on them at work. Any advice on how I should go about reviving them? I looked it up and it said I could “behead” them and just repot what’s still alive and well. I’m still pretty new to succulents so this may be obvious but I’m just not sure. Thanks so much!

How to give this lil guy a glow up?

I’m house sitting a friends house and it’s a bummer to see this “Anthurium” (according to google lens) in this state, any advice as how to make it happier and prettier?

This pot doesn’t have drainage and don’t know details about watering habits which i think must be close to none lol. It’s indoors and doesn’t face the sun/light

    Weed or grass

West Michigan. Growing in single stands here and there in the grass and much longer than the existing grass blades. Growing somewhat vertically too. This was pulled out. I cut the other ones down while mowing so i don’t have a picture of what it looks like in the ground.

    First year. So excited!

My first year growing anything. I have a few other things in pots just trying to see what I can grow. Definitely a newbie to it all but it’s been fun so far. Went outside this morning to my first tomato bloom and the happiness I felt was unreal. 🥹 I even took a cup of coffee out and sat and stared at my plants for about an hour and played the Michael Scott “IT’S HAPPENING! EVERYBODY STAY CALM!” line in my head haha. Please tell me this excitement never goes away.

    plant's soil at wood siding

New homeowner here with a few novice questions:

    1) The previous homeowner had these beautiful whirling butterfly plants here however the soil is right up against the wood siding. Is there any way to put some kind of barrier between them? Or am I going to have to remove these (i'd rather not).

    2) the bushy plant in the backround, is it fine if it's in contact with the structure? I'm always reading about you should keep plants X ft. away from the walls/roofs, etc...

    thanks!!

What to put in place of removed Maple tree!

We had to remove a large maple tree from our front yard due to girdling root, every year it was looking worse. We receive an astronomical quote from a landscaping guy to removing the debris, lay top soil, and plant a new 7-9 foot maple.

Are there steps we can take to do this ourselves? We already removed most of the debris, but still need to clear it out pretty well. Is there anything special we need to do besides remove the debris and add new topsoil? Good places to buy a tree? Is it an ok time of year to plant? We are in Michigan

What do you think would look best here? Thanks!
