• Strawberry heaven? Or hell?

I ripped everything out last year and made it more weed resistant (yeah, right). I have picked 2 quarts twice in the past 5 days. I've made jam, have ordered wine yeast, and gorge myself at least 3 times daily when I run the dog. The birds, squirrels and resident ground hog have not made a dent.

    Help!

It won't allow me to add more pics!

  • 2nd shishito plant like this. Total newbie.

This is the 2nd one. They don't share containers. I bought one, it died. I waited until the weather got warmer, planted this one. 5 gallon bucket, miracle grow soil, espoma garden tone, and watered. Now, this one is looking like this. Should I just give up on this pepper plant? I'm a total newbie and for whatever reason I just am having no luck with these shishito plants.

  • Am I overthinking the whole silicone and dirt step?

    Hey all,

I’m finally on the (hopefully) last step of making a background, adding the silicone and coconut fiber background and small plastic plants. The thing is, I’ve never done this before. I have no idea what silicone is even like wet, and I’m afraid I’ll mess it up somehow. Is this process pretty straightforward?

I have gloves and was planning on using q-tips to try to work it into the small spaces to prevent like crickets from hiding in them. The hole on the side is for a branch I’ll put it. I am planning on cutting down any angular foam parts so it all appears ‘natural’.

Any tips or advice for this? Does the foam need to be smoother? It’s new to me and I don’t understand it, so it kinda scares me.

PS it’s for my crested gecko, I plan to add real plant to the bottom of it once it’s done and upright

  • Best way to clear this underbrush?

Looking to permanently clear all this growth out to allow the the trees to pop more and give a sense of depth/contour to the woods around the back yard. Any guidance on best low cost/most efficient methods? Thanks in advance.

  • What do I do here with mulch always get weeds.

Any kind of black mulch I should get at Home Depot ? How do I prevent these weeds from always coming up without killing the main plants.

Should I pick them first and put down new mulch ?

    Thanks.

  • Help my friends mom out

Her post: Hey Friends…this little vine has shown up in my flower bed and is now climbing up my window. Does anyone know what it is and why after 30 years it decided to join us?
