• Advice needed on a to tall plant.

This guy is almost hitting the ceiling. Do I cut off the top leaves or something to keep it manageable? I'm clueless as far as what species it is.

  • Bearded Iris dying. I think?

So I've recently moved into my girlfriends house and she has flower beds in her back yard that have been overgrown. I started clearing away trees, weeds, vines ect. And a week after I cleared them out the Iris started doing this. I haven't been watering them due to it raining at least 4 inches every weekend. It's also been super hot (heat index of 105) They get an average of 5 hours of sunlight every day. The soil they are in is pretty hard and full of leaves and sticks. The iris themselves have been here for at least 5 years and not been moved. Is there any way I can save them if they are dying?

  • First time broccoli grower! How do you know when to harvest?

This is Waltham Broccoli. It’s only about 3”s across. Does it look like it’s ready to flower or is it still growing?

  • Is there something wrong with my tomatoes?

Started these from seed. They are supposed to be beefsteak tomatoes. Never seen them this wrinkly. Some of them have almost completely wrapped around the stem end.

  • I went to the greenhouse just to look…

And they were unboxing new plants. This is my first alocasia. I kept looking at it, but told my husband I wouldn't get it as I'm afraid I would kill it. He convinced me to buy it.

  • I revived (possibly) my bougainvillea 🥹

So a month ago my bougain started being EXTRA sad. It wasn’t normal because it had never done that and the weather was perfect as well, no watering problems, nothing. But i left for it for a week in trusted hands because i was travelling. When i got back, things were fine, i noticed there were no blooms or new growth. So i waited patiently and decided i had to check whats under the soil. And as you know, root rot. The ENTIRE root ball that was sitting in a 12 inch pot just melted away So i did what most recommended. Wash away those old roots and dip the root ball in Hydrogen Peroxide solution, diluted just enough in water. It let it sit for 5 minutes until it sizzles and potted it in a 5 inch nursery pot and cut everything away.

The before and after is so wholesome 🥹🫶(3 weeks of difference)
