  • Butterwart Struggles

I’ve had this butterwart for several months now and when I first received it it was approximately 3 inches across now it has shrunk down to around 1 inch across. It is planted in a mixture of a perlite and sphagnum moss. It’s located within 3’ of a window and it’s under a grow light that is on for 9hours at night. I keep the plant moist and keep the tray under the pot wet. I’m wondering if I should move this plant to a smaller pot as this one is about 6” tall and I don’t know if that water is getting to the plant as well as it should. My buddy has recommended going full sphagnum moss. Any thoughts would be very helpful.

  • Help with fixing of timber edging to concrete path

We had a new path concreted along our garage and I need to fix the wooden edging flush up to the concrete. Since it's drying it bowing outwards and want to fix it in a way thay doesn't look like just random concrete bolts.

  • Stairs ideas

The photo is deceiving but there is a 6.5 feet drop from here to the end of the house which is 29 feet.

This is between my house and my neighbour’s house (exactly 5 feet width in between). Im looking for ideas on adding stairs without ruining the grade. The grading isn’t completed yet, about 6 more inches of dirt will be added but it needs to remain a swale.

    Any suggestions?

  • Rocky Cleanup: Best Way to Remove Debris Without Losing Stones?

Hey everyone! This is my first spring and summer tackling yard maintenance, and I’m definitely playing catch-up. As you can see in the picture, weeds were growing through the rocks—I managed to kill them and painstakingly pull them out. Now, the rocks are covered in dirt and mixed with debris from all over the yard. What’s the best way to clear it out? Is there a way to remove the debris effectively, or do I just need to add fresh rocks every so often? Appreciate any advice!

  • St. Gaya going crazy, should I remove the basals?

The plant itself is super small but it is producing basals and pitchers like crazy recently. Should I snip them and let them root to allow the mother plant go grow without the extra burden of basals?
