• Moose land.

After four moose in as many days walked straight through our newly seeded lawn area, leaving 4 inch deep pot holes in their wake, we decided to try to make the area a little less enticing to them. It isn’t pretty, but it’s working. Three weeks later and we have not had any moose tracks through it. I hope they return to enjoy the lawn area once it’s more stable.
If you live in moose land, garden stakes and caution tape are a must.

  • What is she trying to tell me

I have overwatered my asparagus fern in the past, needles turned yellow and dropped. This looks a little different, more of a dull-brownish color to the stems of the affected limbs. Also dropping needles. I keep it inside—this started during a hot period when I had her in direct sunlight. I have since moved her to a shadier/indirect light area but the symptoms have progressed a lot!
I water once every week-2 weeks and I flood the pot
    Thanks everybody

  • Lighting my second story

Curious if anyone has ideas on how to light up my second story. I have Volt color spots going on each of the garage posts and the house pillars.

Used chat gpt to make a rendering. The two issues I have are what kind of lights to use and where to mount. The gutters are kind of far away to light up the central gable and I worry I’ll shine through the windows. Chat gpt also missed the half peak in the upper left. What would be the best way to light this?

I’d prefer to have RGB color bulbs to match the lower lights. Appreciate the any help!

  • Petunias fading in color

My petunias in the hanging basket used to be a deep, vibrant purple like the ones on the left, but have faded. I had been fertilizing with miracle grow from time to time and trying not to overwater. It has been pretty rainy and just started getting hot. The plant gets about 6-8 hours of sunlight a day. I have several hanging baskets and these seem to be the only ones fading.I water about 3 times a week. Any tips?

  • Excited for the potential of this sunshine ligustrum

Pulled up a 6ft bush from our yard last year and chopped to general shape. Got into better soil this year and trimmed a bit. Just really like it!
