  • Does lawn need more nitrogen?

The dark green spots are from the extra N from my dogs peeing. Is this a sign the rest of the lawn needs more N or is the contrast normal even in a well fertilized lawn?

  • Glyphosate usage question

Had a quick question to see if anybody has had experience with this. Im looking to convert this section of my "lawn" (mostly weeds) over to gravel since the mower gets parked there, and I think it would look better anyways. However, right next to it I have this freshly planted area. I would like to spray the whole section that will become gravel with glyphosate and kill everything off prior to putting gravel down. Would this possibly affect the fresh planted area given the proximity? Not the end of the world if i have to wait to spray, but would be nice to start getting the plants killed off in advance. Thanks!

  • What type of plant is the tall one? Is it possible to make others from it? Thanks!

Hello and sorry, im not very good at figuring out what type of plant this is. I recieved this as a gift approximately 5 years ago. It's doing well, I believe.
My question is, can I make cuttings? If so how would I go about doing this? Thank you in advance for your help!

  • I think I messed up...

I have had this guy for 4 years, he was part of a center piece at a wedding. He hadn't grown or died in all of that time, I started to think he was fake. Last month I decided to upgrade his pot (it was in its original, thimble sized jar), when I depotted him, he had very little roots but the ones he did have looked healthy. I picked a well reviewed cactus soil and lined the bottom of the pot with rock. Now he is dying (see the bottom 2 leaves), what did I do wrong?

I live in a humid area and only water when the soil feels completely dry about 20-25 days.

He is in a south facing window, and gets a lot of natural light when the sun decides to show itself.

  • Planted my first plant. Wisteria Rosea

Hi, just wanted to share with you my first ever outdoor plant as an adult and new homeowner. Looking forward to growing it blooming pink over the summerhouse. I’ve got around 300m2 plot in Czech Republic.
