• Mystery tomatoes

A few months ago my local Home Depot had tomato seedlings for 98 cents. They’ve finally started to produce! Still unsure what kind they are but very excited !

  • The chunkiest pothos leaves I’ve ever seen

After doing some cleaning of the pothos rack from my previous post, these beauties were discovered hiding behind the rest.

  • Banner day for a gardener

Yield was 180 heads. Not pictured are the 20 chonkers set aside for this falls seed garlic. We fed 4x this year (nov, Jan, march, may) and it really improved quality, nice fat cloves!

  • Safety check

My seek app said this was a black cherry tree, just wanted to get a second opinion. The ref pictures it gave and my online research seemed to match though.

I’m in the Southeast US btw

  • Not sure what’s wrong w my plant

Just noticed it doing poorly today, think it might be over or under watered? Dad told me this was a pickle cactus. It’s indoors with a big window by it so it gets a good amount of sun, I’d say most the day. It’s always done very well before this and we’ve had it a while.

  • Today’s Reminder

Just your reminder to go check your zucchinis especially if you went out of town recently. (This one was hidden under my marigolds that went crazy.)

I hear this won’t taste good. Is it too bad to even put in zucchini bread?

  • My favorite new addition this year - Lewisia! This one is growing under an awning and gets no direct sun. They also love poor soil as long as it drains.

  • What's doing this?

Dutchess County NY - I think this might be pavement ants next to the foundation, but I'm not sure. I put some ant bait out. I don't see many ants. Any other ideas on what it is or how to control it?
