  • Help identifying these succulents?

Recently inherited these from a friend, and i’m wanting to possibly repot the middle guy so he has enough space to continue growing. Want to know how to care for them best, but have no clue who they are. Help IDing would be appreciated!

  • Thoughts on this aeration?

Located in central NC. Bermuda on compacted clay soil, approx 3 years old.

I outsourced aeration because I don’t have the time or energy to do myself. Our yard is uneven, patchy, and hard, so I was really excited for this so we can level out and rebuild.

    Some notes:
    - we got 1.5 inches of rain less than 48 hours ago
    - it was done with a ride-on aerator (so I understand why edges may have been challenging to tackle)
    - less than .25 acre lot

My plugs are really tiny and have hardly any clay which surprised me!

    Thoughts on this aeration job?

  • What Starter Fertilizer to use??

I recently got some St Aug (Floratam) sod installed a few days ago and I'm trying to figure out what Starter Fertilizer I should use?

    Location: Central FL (gulf coast).

    P. S. I tried looking this up on my own and I'm completely overwhelmed with different products or fertilizers I should or shouldn't use. So any help is greatly appreciated.

Side note, the sprinkler company recommended I use Miloganite, I've got a bad of it, just not sure if I should use it.

  • Garlic harvest!

Only a small harvest but as a first time grower I’m very happy.

I have already used a bunch to make a jar of confit garlic, given some bulbs to friends and family, and still have this lot remaining so not bad at all!

Question for you more experienced gardeners. Is there any benefit to growing soft neck varieties? I found hard neck looked better when growing, was able to withstand the strong winds we had for a few weeks, and produced bigger bulbs.
Thinking I may just do all hardneck next year
