• Draining issues for pavers vs. sod?

So we are renting this house and have these super messy flagstone pavers that don’t really make any sense in this location and are all coming up. I offered to take them up and put down sod, but my landlord said there was a history of a “draining problem” on that side of the yard so he doesn’t want me to move them. They’re honestly a tripping hazard and I’m confused how pavers over sand that aren’t even in place correctly could prevent draining any better than sod. Am I crazy to want to push back on him? They are such an eyesore!!

  • What is this all about?

Someone in my neighborhood's (Canada) front lawn looks like this... in the fall we noticed a huge tarp was set in place over their front lawn and was there all winter. This is what it looks like after they removed the tarp in the spring. What the hell was that for? We keep trying to come up with an explanation but we also think it's kind of funny how terrible it looks. any ideas what they are or were trying to achieve?

  • Is this powdery mildew?

Noticed this on my peas this morning. It looks a bit like powdery mildew but I’m not 100% sure. If it is, can I treat it or is it a lost cause?

  • I’m not sure, is it root-bound?

She clearly is I have never seen anything so root-bound in my life. I was super concerned about her from going yellow frequently and dropping leaves so I checked her roots. I’ve had her maybe 4 months and this is nuts! Worked on those roots for 3 hours trying to loosen up that root ball but I finally got her into a bigger pot

  • Help with soil test Central, AL

Looking for recommendations on what to start with on the soil test I had collected. I have 2 40lb bags of sta green 10-10-10 with 7% sulfur in the garage. Yard mastery recommending 13-13-13 with micronutrients. I was hoping to use up what I have on hand before I start buying more if at all possible. I don’t mind supplementing with what I have to get more of the nutrients covered like iron. I have sodded Bermuda approx 9000sq ft and red clay soil. First summer in new build home and first real lawn I’ve had to take care of and don’t want to screw it up.

    Thank you for the help

  • What is this

My lawn was overtaken by weeds and I've tried a couple different types of grass seed mixes including tall fescue (the goal) and Scotts southern mix. I hate whatever this is, but at least it's not weeds... Right? Is there anything I can do to get fescue to overtake this? What is it?

  • Should I pick this cucumber?

It’s a pickling variety. That can be used for gherkins. The is the sole cucumber on the plant lol. I want to pick it to taste it and hopefully to encourage more growth on the plant. But I will be devastated if it doesn’t taste good lol.
