• Can I use this as mulch in the garden? It's chipped, mostly dry wood from evergreen tree branches.

  • Weird black spots on leaves. Pls help

For some reason my plants have these odd black spots on their leaves, I have no idea what they are or how to fix it.

They’re watered every 2-3 days and they’re in direct sunlight for around 6-7 hours.

Does anyone know what this is? Thanks!

  • I repotted my Huernia Zebrina and Huernia Schneideriana

I battled mealies on these since I got them from a nursery last year. It nearly killed them, especially the Schneideriana, most of which rotted.

I managed to destroy the infestation and salvage some stems and they are finally fit enough for new pots.

  • Will my felx elbow connection downspout pieces be okay during winter. Will the winter to summer cycle here in canada eventually cause it to be damaged. Needed to make these connections to relocate the downspout.

Want to know if I can just leave it like this and it will last many years. Or will winter destroy it.

Saw this beautiful plant and it’s being made to climb. Curious how old it could be?

  • Just starting out. New Hampshire

Hello everyone. I was looking for some advice please. I'm making the jump to cutting some lawns here in New Hampshire. I have a Ford ranger 4.0 4x4 and am wondering what size trailer I should aim for and best used mower to search for. It will only be me working and I am looking at general liability insurance now. I have a backpack blower and small push mower, trimmer. I'm looking at purchasing a echo trimmer for $250-300 next. ANY advice is appreciated. I have some experience at lawn care but am no master . Thanks. New Hampshire

  • What is wrong with my peace lily?

    Hello
I have been noticing yellowing leaves with brown tips on my peace lily, with one of its flowers being completely dried out.
My sibling put it on my sunny windowsill while I was gone which I immediately changed when I got back 5 days later, knowing they do not like direct sunlight.

Since then I have watered it around once a week, after checking the moisture on the top two inches of soil with my finger.

After lots of research it seems hard to tell whether I am over or underwatering. Is this yellowing from the sun scorching only? And what can I do to help it get healthyier?

Thank you in advance for your help!

  • Sweet potato too shallow?

First time sweet potato gardener here. These were started from slips on a store-bought potato, so this is low-stakes and very experimental.

I don’t think I planted them deep enough. They’re growing but growing above the soil and the exposed ones (I keep covering them up) are sprouting. I also have a luffa gourd climbing up the same trellis so it’s starting to look a little cramped.

Should I cut my losses and pull the potatoes so the luffa can thrive since I suspect these potatoes are too exposed?
