• Grubs, mole, and prevention

    Missouri, 7A. No irrigation system

I've had my house a few years and these grubs are always around (constantly finding them when I dig up dandelions), but I wasn't too worried about them until I got moles in the past few weeks. I did some research and plan on getting some Dylox at SiteOne soon unless anyone thinks there is a better plan.

Dylox 6.2 G Contact Granular Insecticide 30 lb bag

  • Please help me save my nonna’s aloe vera plant.

Had this plant in my family for 40 years & its recently come into my care. This plant used to be Jumanji sized but is a shadow of its former self. I repotted it but it seems to have gotten worse than before. I’m relatively new to the plant game so please help me out here…Some info;We keep it inside with minimal/moderate sunlight. Before repotting I believe I saw some white mold on the roots but just repotted anyways. Any info is appreciated. I water it every few weeks & the pot has drainage. Anything else I should know?

  • Not sure if this is a weed or a plant :)

This is growing in my front garden. I think my mom planted it before she passed. It comes each year, blooms like this then dies. Any help is appreciated. I live in Eastern Ontario if that helps at all :)

  • What is doing this to my tomato plants and how do I get rid of them? They are like little bites but not through the leaf.

Something is making perfect little round bites in the leaves but not biting through the leaves. Anyone know what it is and what type of treatment to use?

  • Caught one of the culprits that ate my plants

This year was a banner year for groundhogs, we caught 4 in our little backyard garden. We thought we were done so we replanted things again only to have a 5th show up today two weeks later. I’ll only know how bad the damage is when I get home tonight.

We don’t hurt them, we relocate them about 5km away in a field near the local airport where there are not many cars around in case you’re wondering.

  • Everything else is bolting, but driveway choi is still going strong

We've had multiple days in the 80s, and a few in the 90s, over the last couple weeks and this guy is still just doing his thing. At what point do I get annoyed that my heat-resistant plant isn't bolting so that I can save seeds from it?

All of my other choi are either bolting or have been growing rough, bumpy leaves from the heat, but this one keeps growing nice-looking greens regardless of what gets thrown at it.

  • Tomato help

It’s a Cherokee purple I started from seed then transplanted. It’s huge but doesn’t have any flowers. I fertilized with 5-10-10 yesterday. I’m in NC. Any suggestions?
