• Do I pull these out now that they're dead?

    Hello landscaping community,

I treated a whole bunch of thistles and dandelions in my lawn with "Fiesta" (iron-based) a couple of days ago. It certainly appears to have done something to them.

So should I pull these out now, or just let them sit for a while and presumably break down on their own?

    Thanks!

  • Fig tree help

Please help! I propagated this fig tree and it was growing really well, but suddenly it started drooping. I haven't changed anything and have been watering the same since I propagated, and the only thing I can think of is that there hasn't been sunlight in a week. I've seen it droop a little bit before, but it usually sprung right up after a good watering. Any ideas or recommendations would be so appreciated!

  • Is this mold?

I just took down my marble pothos and saw this in the pot. Is this mold?? I recently repotted it :( The pot doesn’t actually have drainage and i water it once every week or so. It gets plenty of indirect light

  • I'm giving up

I purchased a house 6 months ago in Germany, I wanted to be someone who maintained their lawn...make it look good, luscious and green. I spent hundreds, probably close to a thousand euros buying products to maintain the lawn so it could be healthy but I feel like everything I do makes it worse.

The lawn started out completely covered in moss, it was thick and throughout the lawn so I sprayed liquid iron down and waited a couple of weeks before going over with a scarifier to try and get it all out along with the thatch. I used an aerator to get some air into the lawn then I waited a while for it to warm up before I overseeded. I probably put the seed down too early, I made the rookie mistake of thinking it was warming up but the temperature then went down again. I ended up overseeding again with a better seed once I knew the temperature would be stable and it has covered up the patches good but some still remain.

I've spent hours on this lawn, seeding, watering, cutting etc, but now after all this work I have 2 problems, firstly ants, I seem to have ants nets throughout the lawn and now I have a problem with moles as you can see from the picture.

So yeah I've given up now, I will try again next year. Perhaps I will just buy some fresh turf and put some netting down so it's not ruined by moles and other animals.

Oh goodie! Another YouTuber making their own snake oil fertilizer!!!! Really hope no one buys it, he’s a pedophile, look up the name Jeffery Mendoza Washington and the first thing that pops up is an FBI article. Between the neighbors envy and now yard brah making his own fertilizer, the amount of snake oil out there nowadays is staggering.

  • My sunflower has weird patch on stem

    Hi all,

I am new to the farming thing. I just recently started growing sunflowers and one of them has a weird patch on its stem. Could someone tell me what they think it could be?
