• Lawn Unlevel, need help.

    Hey everyone,

I had my whole backyard tilled up and sodded with Bermuda around 2 months ago. Long story short, the installers did a **** job (lucky me). The grass consistently holds water due to low and high spots. I recently had a French drain installed that connects directly to my downspout. My question is, do I keep on leveling with sand or do I need to do something more serious? I’m currently leveling major ruts with sand and a leveling rack. Let me know your thoughts, thanks

  • My aloe plant is sick.

Posted this on r/houseplants. I was advised to post here. I had it in this same exact spot and it was thriving and green for about the last 2 years. I put it outside recently because I thought it would enjoy the heat, humidity, and some more sun, but nope. So, I placed it back here in its original spot and opened the blinds slightly more so it gets a little more sun than it used to here. I’m letting it dry out completely because I’m thinking overwatered. I am wondering what else I can do or if this is just toasted and dead?

  • 3 years later and she finally bloomed!

Guys. I am so happy! I have cared for this peony for 3 years now. This is the first year that she had buds and I have been waiting patiently and impatiently for her to open her blooms. This morning - at 10 am - it finally happened!!!

  • Imperial green philodendron

I have a healthy imperial green philodendron that grows one 18" leaf a month and seems to be thriving. I water it when dry and use a grow light for about 16 hours a day (it gets no natural light). A few days ago, I noticed an unusual growth emerging from a cataphyl, not from a stem. I've never seen anything like it before and was wondering whether anyone knows what it is. It gets a bit larger every day so perhaps it will reveal itself a little later on.

First time succulent owner trying to raise these guys properly. Using a mix of miracle gro cactus soil with pumice. Originally did a 1:3 ratio but it looks more like 1:5 now. Do i add more soil?

Paired this with a sansi light. Ignore the mother leaves around the pot.. going to plant those once babies come :D

    Accepts all feedback

  • I think I made it! Started these way to early. 6a

A winter heat wave fooled me into starting these tomato’s on March 9th. I planted these tomato’s right after the last frost date as they’d outgrown their 1 gallon pots. We proceeded to get an entire month of 40 degree nights and rain almost every day. After almost drowning and fighting multiple fungal outbreaks most have grown over a foot the past couple days and started flowering. I might be counting my chickens before they hatch but I think I can breathe easier now.
