• We have Hubbard squash!!!

I've had terrible luck with Hubbard squash. This is the third year I've tried and the first time I've ever gotten fruit to set! Don't know exactly what the deal is, as I do fine with other squash.

  • Hop, Hop

Look at the baby hop, hop as my grand daughter likes to call them. With all the rain I haven’t mowed the lawn since Saturday

  • Anybody else chill with their plants to get to know them better?

I'm new to my house plant journey (and somehow have some 40 plants already halp) and since I work from home, I have taken to picking a plant off my rack to spend time and get acquainted with, sit under my desk lamp and get ogled, photoed and Googled all day. I know that I am a Certified Silly Goose, so this may be weirder than I realize, but anybody else hang with their plants homies?

Say hello to today's specimen, haven't named her yet but I love how she always looks like she's dancing.

  • Stumped!

Been scouring the internet for awhile now and can't pin it done. I started my search thinking it's a type of kalanchoe, but cannot find a visual match to confirm. TIA!

  • Courgette Spacing

Planted out these little guys last night into the allotment. Realised afterwards that they’re only spaced 30cm apart and that it’s going to be insanely packed and a massive fight for nutrients. So I’ll go back tonight and scoop a couple out.

Just wanted to know recommendations of how many to take out and what ‘shape’ and how many to leave? I’ve underestimated just how productive they are I think, so if we leave 4 plants, that’ll be enough won’t it? I could remove all but the 4 corners which would leave 60-75cm between them minimum.

    Any recommendations appreciated, first timer!

  • When to cut (Minnesota)

I moved into a new build in Minnesota a couple months ago (in Green Isle… where the recent manhunt took place if you all heard about that). Absolute madness in town..

Ok, Back on topic. I seeded and have continued to seed over the past 6ish weeks. This is my first time owning a home and first time seeding a yard. I know it’s not great and obviously a long way to go but i think it’s coming along.

When do I start cutting this? I don’t feel like I should rip out the mower anytime soon? Maybe I’m wrong I don’t know? Do I get out the weed whacker and cut it using that?

    What do you experts recommend?
