  • What is this purple flower?

It’s looks like a few different plants growing around this mailbox but I really love the purple flowers.

  • How do I revive it?

Well, I used Q4 plus herbicide and I think I applied it too heavily or walked too slowly when applying. Anybody have experience on how to bring it back? The roots don’t pull up and it’s crunchy, so I think it’s just hurting and not dead.

  • Spathiphyllum help

Hi everyone, I hope you're all doing well! This is my variegated Spathiphyllum. I need some help because it's starting to lose its variegation — the newest leaf is almost completely green :/
Do you think I should wait and see if it improves? I’ve moved it to a brighter spot, or should I cut the leaf off? :/

  • Can I go shorter?

So before I ended up neck deep in grass information I was very wishy washy about my grass. Last summer I cut at 3.5” because I didn’t know or care, this year my wife said to make nice grass so I’ve learned it’s Bermuda. Beginning of season I “scalped” at a touch under 2” and I’ve been cutting it at 2” with my rotory ever since. I’ve now done a deep dive into Bermuda and would like to start cutting at 1 or 1.5 inches with a reel mower. Can I cut it to 1.5 inches right now and start cutting there? Recommendations?

  • Starting over

Tilling my backyard and starting over with new seed, as it’s about 85% weeds (Northern Ohio).

We have a big party in our backyard every year in early October. If I were to put down seed in late August, how will my lawn look by the first week of October? Mostly soil?

My wife wants me to wait til after the party but I think that’ll be too late.

    Thanks!
