• Two leaves from the same zucchini plant. Amazing what a hit of home-made yellow liquid fertilizer will do. Lol

Some additional context: this is a brand new raised bed I built in the spring, and filled with soil I made from coco coir and last year’s compost pile. I ran short of compost, so I figured this bed was probably nitrogen deficient. This zucchini specifically was the worst off, so I diluted a little bit of, ahem, “homebrew fertilizer” and poured it around the base. All the leaves since have been bright green and healthy. Nearly an instant change. Never underestimate the power of good ol fashioned whiz.

  • What's going on with my jade?

I recently repotted about 2 months ago and it was growing great and when I checked today I noticed this guy had dried out right at the base, any idea what could've caused this? It's been raining recently but I haven't had any issues with it being waterlogged. I

  • Advice - NM

I bought a bag of what was labeled clover lawn seeds and seeded my entire yard. Well flash forward a couple weeks to when the plants are maturing, and it is not growing clover. It’s growing what I believe is purple amaranth. So now I have a yard full of this plant I never wanted and no clover. Any suggestions on how to get rid of it asap?

  • Can anyone help with what to do with this patch of grass?

Located in Kansas City Missouri. It was planted as new sad and just hasn't done great. I don't know what to do to save it or what it needs? It's about 13ft×11ft for size. It stays pretty shaded because of an overhanging mulberry tree. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have never had outdoor grass I cared to keep alive so am very new to this.

  • I planted my first ever garden!

Coneflowers in the back, coral bells in the middle with scaveolas in between, begonias in front. Now should I have waited until June? Probably not but luckily where I am it will be cloudy for the next week. Fingers crossed it all goes well!

  • What are these growing in my repaired north NJ (6b) lawn?

Noob here so forgive me if I’m asking for help wrong. I recently had my sewer and water lines repaired. Contractors had to dig up the yard and wrecked my lawn which was heart breaking. I hired a landscape company to repair the lawn and do some other work. They laid down top soil grass seed and covered with straw. It’s been about a month and the grass is growing in great, but the spot they repaired is also growing tons of these guys. Any idea what they are and how I might get rid of them? My iPhone says California Mugwort, but that doesn’t seem right. Did they use tainted seed or soil? Appreciate any advice you can give.
