  • Is a walkway like this a good idea?

I like having some grass in between. Is there a reason not to do this? Second to that, can I just dig out the grass and dirt, add decomposed granite, and then lay stones on it?

My plants got ill again. But I never saw it this intense, most of the time I only saw 1 or 2 thrips and the last time was a few months ago.

Whatever it is, I have to take care of all the plants around it too right? Goddamn it. I could cry

(I water it weekly, it's 1m away from a window.)

  • Why are the edges of my tomato plant leaves black?

It's been raining a lot in my area so I haven't been able to step outside to look at my plants in a few days. The rest of my tomato and pepper plants are doing fine, some even have fruit. I've been spring an antifungal insecticide on them weekly per the instructions though I held off this week due to rain. Was it over watered by the week of rain? Is it fungal? Can it be saved?

  • Soil

Central Arizona. Half the front yard is a mix of some Bermuda and random greenery. The other half seemingly supports no life. Roots are from a large fruitless mulberry. It looks like there was once upon a time Fescue in this spot based on historical google street view. It’s completely bare now though, so I hand tilled a small area about 2 inches deep. The soil looks like ground beef. Planning to till to about 5” then add some compost and any pH fixings I’ll need. What would you all do?
