    Baby nepenthes

Got this little guy with the beginner outdoor package for the online store. Been about a month outside on my front step here in Houston so it’s been getting rain, heat, rain, heat right now. Covered from direct sunlight. Has a tiny green pitcher on one leaf that’s hanging on the surface of the soil. I think this thing in the middle is new and I can’t tell if it’s gonna be a pitcher or what. Hard to tell if it’s happy or not lol.

    Snap pea harvesting

Hi! This might be a silly question but I can’t seem to google the answer. It says “right above the pod” but do I leave the old flower part behind?

I have been pinching them right where it meets the stem, leaving the flower “hat” behind (line 2)

Is it better practice to remove it off the plant completely? (Line 1)

I want to grow as many peas as possible and if it affects the yield I’ll stop being lazy and leaving them behind haha

    Silverish spots on strawberry leaves

Noticed this silver pattern on some of the leaves of my strawberry plant. Is this normal? Watering pattern is once every 3 days and it gets about 6 hours of light a day

    Finally got my dream plant!

I was gifted this beauty yesterday. Ever since I've started my plant collection, this one has been on my list. I am so excited and cannot believe this is real.

If you have any tips and tricks you want to share, let me know!

    South Carolina zoysia

Sod was put down spring of last year. After going dormant over the winter it has failed to green up as expected so far this year. We have a sprinkler system and it is watered every 3 days. Any idea??

    FIREPIT!

Our landscaper brought this rock over with the idea of putting a natural gas fire pit in it. Upon carving the rock it split in 3 places which required some industrial cement to reconstruct it.
I’m worried it’ll split again with weather here in the inland northwest.
But now it doesn’t sit evenly and is only an inch or two into the crater and any twitch of wind kills the flame!
Any advice on how to make the cutes smoother or how to drill the crater deeper/flater?

    Thanks! 🙏🏼
