  • Soil test analysis

Going into the summer, zone 4, looking to improve my numbers. Clay soil with kbg/tttf mix. It’s starting to show depleted nutrients after seed head production.

I was thinking about applying 7-0-20 since I have it on hand but would like to bump my sulfur numbers. How about mixing potash with stress blend??

  • Mutant delphinium?

My ma n pa have always loved delphiniums and usually have some around the front garden but the last two years have seen this one monster growing in the middle.

Anyone know what causes this? Are we entering Triffid territory? Freaks me out ever time I visit...

  • Is it time to water?

Is it time to water the lithops? It's been months since I watered it last but I'm afraid since last time I watered it one of them rotted almost immediately.

  • What is this ring in backyard?

Perfect circle in backyard, it is slightly deeper around as if there is something there. I have city sewer and no septic so I don’t know what this could be any guesses?

  • Is this sunburn or a watering issue?

These spots turn crispy, papery brown after they appear.

I live in Southern Az, where temps are currently 105. These are potted plants that receive deep watering once every 6-8 days (top 2 inches are usually dry by then). Well-draining mix of soil, bark, perlite.

It does receive some direct sun in the afternoon for a few hours, but relocating the plants is not an option at this time.

This was not an issue a few months ago during cooler temps, so Im stressing about it right now.

  • You guys! After months of waiting and almost giving up, i spotted my first cucumber. The flower is open and I see a lil cucumber behind it. Does that mean a bee pollinated it or do I need to hand pollinate? And Happy Father’s Day to all the dads! 🫶🏽
