  • UK based. Just had new turf put down and it’s two different colours

This is my first garden so new to this. I hired a team to redo my whole garden. Just had new turf put down and they are completely different and I’m not sure why.

The left side was put down 4/5 days ago but has always been that shade of green from day 1.

The right side and back of the garden was put down 2 days ago and looked pale and dying in some patches since day 1.

The guys I hired assured me it’s the same type of grass but it looks a bit ridiculous.

Can anyone advise how I can get them to match up if that’s possible?

I’m based just outside of London

  • Are my provider bush beans ready to harvest?

I planted my beans around 40-45 days ago. These are the biggest beans so far. I know I can’t let them grow too much or they’ll bulge and become stringy. This is my first time gardening period so please let me know!

The texture is pretty hard. No give whatsoever. The color is almost the same as the bean leaves. Only ever so slightly lighter.

  • 12v Lighting Hanging Lantern Solution

So I have a small boutique hotel on the beach in Panama and I have several 12v transformers installed to run standard low voltage garden lights. I'd like to add on to the system with lights like the pictures, but it seems lantern style lights aren't being made in a 12v format. Anyone have any ideas on how I can DIY it? Also if anyone knows a company that makes these that would be great too! Thanks for any help

  • A Miniature Sundew Forest

It’s June and as the scrambling growth of the larger Drosera Modesta plants start retreating into their tubers, several additional Modesta are also emerging.

At this size before they get big enough to scramble later in the season, they form small upright forests in the sand, just as they would be found in their natural sandy outcrops in Australia.

I had to stop and admire them this morning, and wanted to share it with everyone!

  • Pitcher plant most likely dead

I don’t know what to do it’s not at my primary residence so I can’t always be there to take care of it but It started to get better again and now it’s like this is it too far gone?
It gets watered once a week and until the soil gets wet but not so much that the bottom of the pot is able to leak
It gets around 8 hours or 10 hours of sun each day

  • My first succulent. Are they supposed to do this?

I bought my succulent from Walmart maybe a month ago. It was a really cute, small and relatively flat one. I didn't realize they grew taller, let alone that they grow limbs. Is this normal for them, especially one from a Walmart? I also think I might need a bigger pot too.
