  • Cooked or hopeful?

Coworker gave me this rooted philodendron brasil cutting on Saturday (last Sat). Happy and healthy at the time! I put it in my southern facing window area above my desk where my other philos are (painted lady and a heart leaf) and those ones have been doing just fine, no issue with the amount of light. Well, Tuesday I had hip surgery and I had to ignore my plants for a few days obviously. Today I went over to check on this one and, uh oh. Is this a sign the sun was too strong? Were we thirsty and neglected? (although my partner kept checking the soil moisture and it was still wet for several days this week. I gave it a good soak before taking this photo and moving the location to across the room where my more sensitive to the sun plants go).

If it was either of these issues do I have any chance to save it? It was so pretty before. :( But if it's dead, Jim, I accept my loss. Thanks in advance!

  • What is this leaf that smells like mango?

I was walking around when i picked this leaf and it smells sweet almost like artificial mango, it's kinda sticky and fuzzy and it leaves a bitter taste. It was growing out of a rock in a dry place. short plant.

  • Shaping tips

I recently got a ficus ginseng bonsai and I had a few questions for a beginner. I heard the plant needed bright indirect sunlight, would this be sufficient sunlight? Are there any ideas for how I should shape this bonsai I'm don't have a concrete idea at the moment of how I want this too look like in the future.

  • Nasturtium leaning fully grown

This baby was growing fine, until it started to bloom. Anyway, I have three in one pot. They are in full sun and started to grow even better. But then one of the main stems slanted really bad. I gave it a good soak thinking it was thirst and put it in part sun, the the other two slanted the next morning. Should I leave them alone it’s only been about a day or two since they began to fall. Or do I need to do something? The pot are very good drainage holes, I havnt really been watering it since it has been raining at least once a week now I will say.
