New succulent caretaker I’m new to taking care of plants, and I was gifted these 3, they came from Walmart, as well as the soil. I’ve seen people use more gravel-looking stuff to house their plants in but this soil was specifically advertised as being good for growing succulents. I don’t have a green thumb 😅 My son gave me a sunflower seedling for Mother's Day. I have no idea what kind and no idea for care. I bought a medium pot and it has grown but we have had a lot of shower on and off so I haven't watered it. I look out and it's turning black. I resoaked the soil at the time because it was dry.
