  • HELP

I just moved my spider plant into a new pot but now all her leaves are torn in the middle and bent over!!! I think i mightve split them somehow or maybe she couldnt support her own weight but will she be okay? Also why is the base of her leaves so pale and white?

PLEASE TELL ME ITLL BE OKAY
    Helpful info:
    - Was due for a watering before this which is why i figured id move her and water her in the new soil.
    - I keep her in my room indoors with good lighting 8 hours a day in front of a window and shes been healthy for her whole life. Im just worried.

  • Is this normal? Central Florida

Starting a small lawn care and power washing side hustle as a college student on break. Any tips would help too. Hooked a job but making sure this is normal before I send anything.

  • Question about my soil (southeast MI, Macomb county)

My front and back yard are both very bumpy. I'm just starting to really care about it, and want to level it all out. Front yard is the smallest (read: cheapest) so I'm starting there. Ive got a line on plenty of sand, but read somewhere you shouldnt use sand if you have clay in the soil. Google says Macomb county is mostly clay soil. However, this small plug from my lawn doesnt appear to show any clay should it be fine to go ahead with sand to level?

  • First tomatoes of the season!

I wasn’t aware I had cherry tomatoes. They were labeled as German Johnson from the person we bought the tomato plants from. Oh well. They are tasty and will do well in salads.

  • Any way to target dandelions (MN) without spot spraying?

I wouldn't mind clover and some other natural ground cover, but we end up spraying the whole yard every year with broadleaf spray and pre-emergent just to get ahead of the dandelions.

Dandelions run amok up here (pic of neighbor's natural yard), and would require nearly daily spot spraying to target specifically. They can grow, flower, and seed literally overnight. They also adapt quickly to mowing.

I guess I'm looking for a robot spot sprayer. I can make peace with not having flying cars, but where is my robot spot sprayer?!

  • Some of the best $40 I've spent in a while. Strawberry Shake.

The first time I saw a philo strawberry shake, I wanted one. But I couldn't bring myself to spend $180 on a plant (albeit, bigger than this) or $90 for a little four inch plant with 4-5 small leaves.

Found this for $40 from a smaller seller on Etsy and took a chance. I did remove one bug (teeny tiny spider...) and then wiped down every surface, petiole, etc. (even sprayed the soil) with both plant-bug killer spray AND neem oil to be safe. I didn't see any webs from spider mites or any other sign of bugs other than the one I removed. I'm a little worried it was a spider mite so even though I sprayed, I'm going to quarantine.

I am extremely pleased. I think she is beautiful and I'm really excited.

  • Hydrogen peroxide mistake

I took someone's advice to apply 3% hydrogen peroxide spray to my squash leaves which have powdery mildew. Only afterwards i found out that it needs to be diluted. Will my leaves recover? In the photo it looks better than it does IRL... for some reason, my camera has greens appearing brighter. This color is more like a brownish green.
