  • Quoting rock pathway

I need help with quoting this job. I’m ripping these flagstone pavers out and redoing this.
This is what I was thinking.
    Excavate 6” deep and level.
Pour 4” of gravel dust and compact it.
    Weed barrier.
    Metal edging
Lay pavers, sand under paver if needed for level.
Fill in gaps with 1-2” river pebble.
    Done.
    What do you think?
Rough dimensions are 4’ wide by 29’ long but the far end by the fence will be wider; approx. 9 feet wide there.

  • How to clean up edges along road/driveway? Asphalt has a rounded over edge so I can’t use an edger. String trimmer throws rocks at my house or neighbors house.

  • Salvageable or Time for a Do-over?

Zone 5b. So salvageable or redo?

If it's redo, I may have to wait for fall as it's sharing to get into hot months.

  • Zucchini stem turning white…

Hello all! I am worried about the stem of my zucchini plant in my garden. I started the plant inside and properly hardened it but after I moved it outside I kind of almost/half broke the stem but straightened it back out and buried the broken part and it has been growing fine since. Today I checked it and it seems to be turning white, or scarring maybe? I'm not sure. I've looked through some pictures on google and saw that it could possibly be vine borers. I've had trouble with vine borers before, I just wanted to ask people who likely have more experience with this. Thanks for any answers!

  • Mint suddenly transformed in hours

Hello! I got this mint plant this week. I had it indoors for a couple days, but I placed it outside last night.

This morning it was standing perfectly, looked healthy. It was recently watered.

I come home from work and this is what I found. What happened?

  • What is happening?

I think it's flowering but I'm not sure. The last one that flowered was just one in the center. There are eight on this one.
