• Black grass then dead grass!

Why does my grass turn black and then get really dry. What is killing it ? I am watering it properly and also treated it for grubs. Please help.

  • Help with Venus Flytrap (Count Trapula )

    Hi!

Healing my inner child by caring for a Venus flytrap like I’ve always wanted to. This is my little baby bean 🫘, Count Trapula.

I’m giving him sunlight from the window nearby and distilled water from the base of the pot. He also was planted with the peat moss mix. He hasn’t caught anything yet but he’s only lived with me for a few days. I also removed any dead bits off him.

How does he look? Is there anything I can do to help give him the healthiest life? I’m worried he’s not red enough on the inside of his traps and that that means I’m hurting him.

    Thanks in advance <3

I cut off where I saw them and threw it in the bin so I didn't get a good look at them but I'm hoping someone can tell me what they are please! Really hope they're not dangerous for my plant it's been doing so well

  • What should I put here? This area gets muddy when it rains.

Hey all, I recently bought my first home and had a few young, invasive trees growing super close on this side of the house. Had them removed so it looks pretty rough.

Due to the slope of the land, water often collects here whenever it rains, so it can get a bit muddy. I live in TX and we usually have droughts, so flooding isn't too much of a concern.

I'm thinking I can lay flagstones here, or maybe add some mulch and shrubbery to help with the water? Should I add tarps underneath? Or would it be better just to plant grass? Ideas and thoughts appreciated!
