• Dry? Overwatered? Not enough Sun?

What might be causing these marks to appear on my succulent’s stems? I’ve been watering it about every 2 weeks when the soil is dry. It sits near a south facing window and doesn’t appear to be leaning towards the window as though reaching for more light. The leaves do not appear dried out to me either (this is my first time having a succulent though so I could be wrong on that). TIA!

  • some kind of virus?

this is the newest leaf on my philodendron jose buono x pinnatilobum, and none of the other leaves on the plant have similar discoloration. i only noticed it now because the sunlight moved directly behind the plant, and was perplexed that it looked more like a watermelon mosaic virus than the ones i typically see on aroids. no pests on the plant, which has had a very healthy life with me up till now.

i water the plant normally, there is no overwatering happening (good lord, figuring out exactly how to phrase this to please the stupid robot almost deterred me from posting at all!). what is going on here?

  • Is this poison ivy?

I didn’t touch the actual plant but I had to close the gate. Only touched the metal and washed my hands with dawn when I came in

  • is there any hope left for her

this is a friends plant that i have been tasked with taking care of over the summer. when i got it it already had the whitish ring around it so i think it was already kinda dying but the green bits have since started shriveling and rotting. i repotted it yesterday into its current container from a tiny little plastic pot but i am not hopeful lol

  • what does this to a tomato plant in 1 night?

was gifted some seedlings from a friend and put them outside for less than 24 hours. came back the next morning to this. i tried my own garden this year in spring and the same thing happened to all the tomatoes. whatever it is they love tomatoes, will nibble peppers but mostly leave them alone, and decimated catnip plant as well…. but didn’t touch cucumbers. should i just drown them all in neem oil and pray? it cant be rabbits since i specifically set this high up out of the way. i’m lost… any help would be great

  • Ivy is growing back after planting new grass. What do I do?

Hi all I am a first time homeowner in southern Connecticut.

We removed an entire side of Ivy from the lawn on the side of the house. It was probably growing for decades.

Ripped up a bunch of vines for days and planted ryegrass. Grass looks great but now there’s a tremendous amount of ivy leaves coming up from underneath.

How should I approach getting rid of the ivy now?

    Thank you, everyone!

  • Why won’t it bloom?

I have this huge bird of paradise plant that seems healthy, but the flowers die before blooming. I’ve never had one bloom in color! it gets tons of light. It gets watered every three days with automatic sprinklers. Any suggestions?
