• How to stop runoff from depositing dirt?

I have this spot where storm runoff collects between my neighbor’s house and mine. On its journey out to the street, it pulls a lot of dirt into the sidewalk. What are some ways to prevent this? I’m in an HOA, so it needs to be somewhat aesthetically pleasing.

  • Coffee plant - we don't go really along very well

Hi fellow coffee plant owners (at least I think this is a coffee plant). I had it for 3 years now, and we have our ups and downs, mostly downs. It did not grow a lot in this period and most of the time is not really happy. I water it every 4-5 days and it has plenty of light, no direct sunlight. Do you have any tips?

  • First harvest of 2025 🥹

Parsley and cilantro. Things are moving really slow over here. Hopefully within the next few weeks things pick up a bit. Nonetheless, I'm learning from all my mistakes lol

  • Friendship cactus outgrowing its window

This guy is so small but so tall! I don’t know how tall he can get without falling over. What do I do? Is it assured destruction to cut it down to a few different pieces and propagate them? Does it need a bigger pot so it doesn’t get top heavy and fall over? I love him so much!

  • Should I thin out this basil? And if so, what should I do with the ones I pull up?

I hate the idea of just throwing some away if I thin it out, is there somewhere I can go to give them to people?

  • How to repair grass damaged by skid steer

One year old Bermuda, zone 8. I recently had a skid steer that damaged the grass as you can see in the picture, it extends for about 50 feet of damage. Do I have to replace it and put new sod or will it grow back? Also, if it will grow back, what can I do to facilitate the process beyond typical lawn care?
