  • Got some oddly straight dark green stripes, any idea why?

Put down some slow release fertilizer a few weeks back. Thought maybe an area of overlap with the broadcast spreader? but seems too narrow for that.

  • Any info on this flytrap culitvar

Every time I see this photo of this "Spotify" cultivar on araflora, I'm pretty intrigued. Unfortunately I'm not able to find any info or images of this cultivar apart from araflora though, so I was wondering if anyone happens to own one of these or know anything more about it. Thanks!

  • Birds of Paradise advice please

I’ve had my BOP since 2021. Lately I’m noticing a lot of the leaves are growing outward and not up like the one. Is that because of anything I’m doing? Like the leaves seem too heavy almost . It’s been in that pot since mid 2023 so maybe needing a bigger pot? Or same pot fresh soil? I add more soil on top each year. I havnt fertilized it much, pretty sporadically because it’s always grown very well and producing new leaves often. But maybe needing to start doing that? I water whenever an inch or two of the top soil is dry and try to give it as much light as possible.

  • Moved my happy spider plant indoor, now it’s starting to look sad?

It had many flowers and they closed up a bit, I gave it some water and it got a little better but I’m wondering whether it’s not good for the plant to be inside?
It’s standing right next to a sunny window.

  • Can't get spool out of string trimmer

CA - I wasn't sure where to post this. I have a black and decker ST4500 string trimmer. It's the one in this video https://youtu.be/cdKIqpSlpDw?si=WaHJ51XxVEhXV0fp
    With the pictured replacement spool.

I cant, for the life of me, get the spool out once the cap is off. It's supposed to just be sat in the spot, nothing complicated holding it on. I tried to pry it out with a screwdriver but this didn't help (I got the string trimmer for free so at this point I have nothing to lose)

Any ideas why this is "stuck" and how to unstick it? The string trimmer is still working, btw, and will advance when I tap it against the ground.
