• What should I do?

This new shoot was pushing up and I was thinking of cutting it and planting it in it's own pot. I just reported this about a month ago. I feel I jumped the gun. Should I just angle the new shoot outward or cut it out?

Good light. Excellent drainage. Watering when needed

Just bought a house. There is a bare patch in the lawn. Can I grow grass here? I read online you cant place top soil over roots. Should I just rake around the soil and throw down some seed?

  • This didn’t work great - Leaf Rake loosely duct-taped striper

Tried this….rake is a little too gripy and hard to a back up with / turn, then it fell off. Otherwise, 5 stars 10/10.

  • I'm potting some water props - which nursery pot would you use for these roots?

I have 4" and 5" nursery pots. This is a mix of an albo epi, what I think is pearls and jade, and "Hawaiian" pothos. I don't want to crowd the roots too much, but I also don't want to give it too much space and risk root rot. Any thoughts?

  • 'Nuther Weed ID Query

Can anyone tell me what this weed is in my tall fescue lawn in Southern Illinois? The leaves are about 3/4" long. The stems are green. It's about 3-4" tall, as tall as I cut my tall fescue. I've not noticed any flowers on it, but I've only been in this house since last October. There's just a small patch of it so far, just a couple of square feet of it.

  • Why is my holy basil sad and blackening?

I have another pothos that was dying in the background from blackening leaves. Can this be because of too much sunlight?

Because there is variable weather where I live, I water according to how dry the soil it. There's no schedule.
