  • First time doing this and have my first signs of tomatoes

This one is the biggest of the lot as it was more of a "are they ready" transplanting to a bigger pot the others are about 2 weeks behind. Really pleased

  • Is my bromelia dead?

So I brought this bromelia three months ago in a store and it had brighter red colors until June, that I had to go on vacation for three weeks and I left it with an hand made water system; when I came back, it had this greenish color and it remains like that. Is it okay? The leafs look good to me and it's still growing but I see the flower very withered (it receives light every day indirectly)

  • Isn't she beautiful?

Brought her home to other day. The first name I thought of was Francine but I think she is more of a Maxine. I'm getting her a more worthy pot.

For anyone wondering, this is a rana verde peperomia, and as I understand it, the spikes are her flowers.

  • My neighbour mowed (scalped) my front lawn without permission. Will this recover? (UK)

Okay. So my neighbour has decided to mow (correction: scalp) my front lawn. To be clear, this isn't an ambiguous property boundary; my front lawn starts where her driveway stops. She doesn't have permission to cut my lawn.

She has run a mower with the height of cut on basically flymo. You can see where she's gone "maybe this is a bad idea?" and shut off the mower.

I do not know if this was a misguided attempt to be helpful or what. I have zero idea why my neighbour is mowing my lawn. My only guess is she's done it to make it easier for her guests to alight? But she shouldn't be alighting on my lawn, should she?

Will this recover or do I need to reseed and fertilize? It's not exactly a perfect lawn (more a patch of grass) by any means but to me this looks half dead now.

  • Advice for First time Homeowner

Hi! I live in southeast NC and struggling to get the lawn even. This patch seems to be filling with some new growth and crab grass. What should I do here to get rid of this and get it back to normal. A friend said that the type of grass is Crown Zoysia.
