Sand coming out of pavers. Not sure why? I have some concrete pavers and noticed even after I sweep the sand away, in a few days more sand comes up. What style after air layering here? The picture shows the top 2 ft or so. I’m trying to risk killing years of growth on my coral bark with a bottom chop (but the temptation is there). This tree was from Oregon and hasn’t acclimated to socal weather yet, so it’ll have to be next spring. This is one season too soon but this will be my first air layer so I’m looking for some styling recommendation (especially if styling can be done *now* prior to the cut). Help me save my Dieffenbachia! My friend was a bit late to watering day with my plant while I was gone and all his leaves fell off. It’s going on a month now and I’m seeing no new growth. I have been taking care of it like I did before when it was happy (same amount of light and regular watering) but no success. A plant mom friend suggested I make a small humidity control system by putting a cup over it so I tried for a few days but now the tips are even more brown than before! Where can I find Drosera hamiltonii AND Utricularia simplex? Carnivorous plant nursery is always sold out when I check online. My Cephalotus cutting I was gifted has taken off and I’d love to do an Australian themed set up. If there’s any other species you’d suggest or other tips please let me know. I keep my Cephalotus on a mix of Horticultural sand, Peat, and Perlite.
