What style after air layering here? The picture shows the top 2 ft or so. I’m trying to risk killing years of growth on my coral bark with a bottom chop (but the temptation is there). This tree was from Oregon and hasn’t acclimated to socal weather yet, so it’ll have to be next spring. This is one season too soon but this will be my first air layer so I’m looking for some styling recommendation (especially if styling can be done *now* prior to the cut).
