Trying to identify each plant in this pot

Just bought this little arrangement Saturday, trying to figure out what each one is and their care needs.

What is wrong with this plant?

I’ve had this plant for two weeks. It’s a Fittonia, and it says medium to bright indirect light which I think I have it in the right spot on the window sill, it’s not too bright. Water says to “keep soil evenly wet (not wet)”

I’ve I usually water plants on Sundays. It was fine at first but now it looks like it’s shriveling. Is it not enough water or too much sunlight? What do I do help I don’t want this plant to die.

    Honest and Humble Introduction

**Just made a super simple lawn guide for homeowners — curious what this community thinks.**

I recently transitioned out of the golf course industry after 10+ years and now lead the grounds and landscaping team at a rural hospital in Washington.

Our PR person asked to feature some of the environmental stewardship work I’ve been doing, which got me thinking: what if I started a monthly column or flier for the community?

This is version one — **“The 7 Deadly Yard Mistakes”** — a *very basic*, beginner-friendly checklist I wrote for folks who don’t have any background in turf.

Would love honest feedback if anyone has a minute.

    Is my Hosta okay?

Just recently transplanted this bad boy and I’m worried I made a mistake. It was so happy and thriving where I had it in the backyard but I recently moved it to my front yard and I’m worried it’s dying. Is this normal for a transplant or did I kill it?

Any tips or advice is appreciated.

    I messed up big time

Guys I need any and all help yall can give. I uprooted a bunch of elderberry plants between our house and our shed. My wife got very upset last year when these bushes were cut / trimmed when me and a buddy were working outside clearing up.

We’ve been in this house for 8 years and these plants were already planted when we moved in. It took a couple years for her to realize they were elderberry and once she did, she was so excited at the thought of them fruiting. And I royally screwed up by completely uprooting damn near all of it

I went out and grabbed what looked like it might be salvageable (longest roots, most leaves, pieces with small seeds / berries) and tried replanting them as best as I could. The area they were in is mostly gritty dirt (not what I would think as soil) and small rocks, like for driveways and walkways

I am planning to get a work truck tomorrow and get some soil from a local plant place and try to mix some of that in.

I want to look for some more pieces in the daylight that I can try to plant elsewhere too, hoping it will grow there. My wife has tried to get the plant to take other places but didn’t have any luck.

Any ideas on sun / shade, pots, fertilizers, anything really I welcome. I have to figure out a way to fix this for her

I will take some better pictures tomorrow when it’s light out, if that will help

I watered everything after I tried to replant it and will do more tomorrow in the different areas / methods

    Other Bog Plants

Of the non-carnivores I planted in my bog barrels, I think Grass Orchids, Calopogon tuberosus, may be my favorite. Usually the deer have got them by now. Any other bog plants people love to co-habitate with their temperate carns?

    Thinning?

    Hey folks,

Long story short, we moved several years ago and ended up with rock hard clay for soil. So the past few years, I've been relegated to container gardening for the most part.

These are two Sierra Gold cantaloupes growing in a 20 gallon nursery pot. Soil is home-brewed for melons and is well amended. I've grown melons for years, but haven't grown full size melons in containers. Though a smaller variety, they're much bigger than what I've done in containers the past couple years (Minnesota midget, honey bun, and another small variety).

That being said, I think know my answer, but someone please tell me to go ahead and throw one of these in the compost ... Unless ... The proverbial 'you' think I can make it work with rigorous care and heavy feeding!

    Thanks!
