• What's wrong with my front yard?

Hi everyone! This is my first year owning this home and am very confused what is going on with my front yard. It was relatively green just several days ago and today I woke up to this. I water the yard almost every day. What are possible causes and what can I do to fix it? Should I just keep watering? Thanks for kind responses/sugestions.

P/S: I am in PA and it's been really hot recently.

  • Bermuda sod turning brown

Sod has been down ~ 4 weeks. Watering 1-2 times a day. The brown area is growing. No dog. Disease? Any suggestions? Should I remove the brown patches to protect the areas that are still green?

  • It normal for this to have so many pitchers?

Got this in September and this thing is hungry obviously, its been getting quite a bit of bugs big and small, from initially being small ants and now its getting beetles and yellow jackets. Never thought this was gonna do this well, since it had just a few pitchers when i got it initially. Anything to expect when theyre so abundant and whats the reasoning for getting so many. Living in coastal south Carolina fyi

  • What cable did I just F up?

I should preface this by saying I called before I dug, and there wasn’t supposed to be anything where I’m excavating..
I’m removing dirt from my backyard and rented a tiller to help break up my rock hard clay. I’m about an hour in, and just messed up this cable real good. Any idea what it might be?

  • Is This a Good Plan For My Garden?

    For context:

I live in Zone 6b, and am planning to plant on July 15th. The bed is 4ftx8ftx16in. I am planning to use the Square Foot method of gardening, since it looks nice to my micro-management brain and I’m a beginner.

I am looking for a diverse amount of opinions so I can really figure out what is best for my garden, so please do not hold back criticism — or good resources for me to follow! I’m super open to changing all of this, since I haven’t bought any seeds yet and I can always compost the tomato plants I have for transplanting.

I am going to leave a comment providing a picture of the garden bed as well (I am going to add some hardwood mulch on top, along with a top-off of compost from a coworker!)

FYI: The last 4 squares are empty because I can’t figure out what to put there, suggestions are greatly appreciated! :3

  • What’s wrong?

I got these drosera venusta in the mail a couple weeks ago. They came clumped together in LFS, and I repotted them into a peat, sand, perlite mix. Most of the leaves seem to be dying and the growth points on some look a little black. They’re sitting in DI water and get 14 hours under a strong grow light. Is this transplant shock? Anything I can do to help them recover?

  • My Pothos just grew mushrooms?

My golden pothos has been in this pot for over 4 months with no issues and today literally overnight it has grown these 2 little brown mushrooms. The only change I’ve made is I started watering it with my
aquarium water as it has fish waste (and therefore nutrients). Does anyone have any idea what this is / why it grew??
