  • Manual Reel Push Mower - Australia

Hi just need advice on a manual reel push mower if that’s what they’re called haha. I live in Melbourne, Australia so hoping some Australians can help out especially with brands. I’ve just got a new house and looking for a mower, the backyard is small and only gonna have like 4mtr x 4mtr of grass area. So I was thinking these would be good to use and it’ll save space in the garage which is only small too.

Just wanting to know what brands are the best? Are they worth it? What are the benefits or disadvantages of them?

Also if anyone could help with choosing what kind of grass should I go for?

For anyone that says get fake grass for that size, no I hate the look of fake grass and the feel

  • Help me care for this lil guy

I happened to plant a seed in a pot for shits and giggles but it actually ended up sprouting. I want to move it to another pot but not sure what soil or care is needed to have a successful harvest. Looking for the help of a pro

  • My first sizable carrots!

Featuring some kale and a bunching onion as well. I am so proud of them the last one I picked while thinning was super woody and I don’t know why so I hope these aren’t.

  • What to do with this planter

We have this brick planter that is filled with dirt and has bricks and cement at the bottom. The bricks are crumbling and someone put a goofy cap on it and it’s crumbling as well. Originally I was planning on removing it and planting grass, but since it has cement and bricks under the dirt, it’s too much work. What should we do with it? We are in Boise and there’s no water or electricity plumbed to it.

  • Grass dying?

I’m in northern NJ. This was new sod installed in March of this year. Is the grass dying or just dormant? Thanks
