  • Swirls

I’ve got a brand new Honda hrz217vya and it’s never done this before. Mowing at 1.25”. The lawn is kind of bumpy, I’m in the middle of a reno. Just want to know if the bumps are causing it, or something else?

  • New ai lawn care app scheduling assistant.

Hey everyone, just wanted to share something I’ve been quietly working on. I’m building a free app called Yardly that uses AI to help people take better care of their lawns — especially if you’re not sure what to do or when to do it.

You can snap a photo of your lawn, and the app gives you a simple diagnosis and recommended actions. It also looks at your local weather and suggests tasks like mowing, watering, feeding, etc., at the right time. Kind of like a personal lawn assistant.

I’m also adding some fun stuff like:

    Lawn health scores

    Gamified task streaks

    A shareable leaderboard with friends

It’s still early and I’m bootstrapping it with zero budget, so I’d love any feedback or ideas — or just to know if this is something you’d find useful.

Happy to answer any questions cheers!

  • I’m a noob

Outside of the fact that there’s a lot of grass growing in here (and that may be the only reason) what’s going on with my pumpkins, I’ve watered them I’ve slowed down on watering them I’ve put sevin on them to keep pests off and it keeps on looking like this.

  • I need grow light recommendations!

My pothos on a moss pole are becoming too cumbersome to move from window to window, so I need suggestions on which grow light to get for them.

  • Blossom End Rot?

Zone 8b. First year growing San Marzanos- guessing inconsistent watering is the issue?

Regularly fed, bed is mulched although admittedly soil could have been worked on a bit more before planting and was heavy clay to start with. We’re still working out some kinks with a new watering system so hoping that’s the only issue, but going to add some calcium tonight for good measure. Unfortunately lost a bunch but so far this is the only plant of 4 affected. New to this so any advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance!
