  • What pepper is this?

I grew this pepper plant from a hot salsa pepper mix (I think from Burpee’s) but have no clue what kind of pepper this is. I was thinking Cayenne but my existing cayenne pepper looks no where close to this, it’s much bigger and longer.
    Any help appreciated!

  • What is cousing this discoloration

We have this cactus for about a month or 2 now. Now the stem is turning brown, en the pink bulbs are turning white.
The stem is still firm tho.
Anyone know what could cause this, or is it just thirsty?

The pot does not have drainage, but the soil dry all the way through and the soil is specific for cactusses.
They stand by a window and have 6 to 8 hours of light. We red that cactusses only need water once a month and have only given it wtr one time.

Do you think it will perk up if I water it?

  • This has taken over my garden

South Louisiana, 9a. This has taken over my garden. I put out pre emergent this year maybe 2 months ago. About to add more.

If there a spray/granular that would rid this?

    Thanks.

  • Drosera Aberrans Maldon Vic Green Form Flower

Honestly an underrated tuberous sundew - the flower is almost the size of the plant and has a nice green-maroon color under good light. The flower has a nice scent too.

  • NJ installed tall fescue last fall and now it’s brown and ugly

I installed tall fescue that is supposed to be drought tolerant and spread through rhizomes.

All winter it was green. This summer it turned brown. By contrast the grass farther down near the trampoline is green in summer but brown in winter.

Having brown grass sucks. Such a waste of money on the fescue.

  • Propagating banana plant. There were 6 shoots in the same pot, I've removed all the old soil abd separated them as carefully as I could. Should I wash these off and place them in water for a couple weeks to help grow new roots, or do they all have enough roots to be planted again?

The biggest shoot has the least amount of roots, will it make it if I plant it?

  • Friend or foe?

Found this guy on my zucchini plant. Happy to be a friend to the pollinators but already lost all my kale to cabbage moths. How much damage should I expect if I leave this dude be?

  • Drainage issues after neighbor installed turf

I like these neighbors, but turf was installed last year and I'm now noticing a drainage problem. This picture is after about 10 minutes of moderate steady rain.
I think when they installed the turf, they took away a few inches of dirt, but added back more rock/sand and now it is higher than my side of the fence. Their house also doesn't have gutters that run underground, so they just point this direction.

Both houses are about 5 years old, and less than 10 feet apart.
It's clay soil, so water that sits here doesn't soak in for a long time.

I assume it was probably against city code for them to build this at a higher grade, right?
I like these neighbors, so I don't want to cause any issues, so I'm just looking for suggestions.
Is this too little to even worry about?

My house has the gutters running underground, is there a way to tie something like a french drain into that?
